Aug 10, 2008 Cask at Ealing beer fest. Aroma is malty with sharp wierd burnt character. Taste has some liquirce notes in what would have been an interesting best bitter.

Jul 16, 2007 Dartford Beer Fest. A drinkable session bitter with a good balance of pale malt and English hops. Decent.

Jul 29, 2006 Cask conditioned at Sands, Grange over Sands, Cumbria. Amber colour with foamy head. Smooth malty beer, quite puddingy in character but with a malty dryness, easy drinking but quite understated. Short finish with a taint of hop. Ok.
