Dark red/copper colour. Rich with and orange spicyness redolent of Green & Black’s Mayan Gold Chocolate. Consumed in utterly perfect condition at the Black Dog Inn at Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria

Reading 06 BF cask gravity. Reddish brown colour. Quite malty, red malt. Red berry flavour, bit of white choc. I like the malitness of this. Nice enough ESB

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. More copper than red, but undeniably a handsome looking beer. Plenty of rich, full, chewy malt underpinned by a smattering of earthy hops. Could do with a few more. Quite nice but noting out of the ordinary.

Cask Conditioned at Reading Beer Festival 2006. Ruby red colour. Fruity, juicy aroma. Sweet malt balanced by hops with strong fruit character. Slightly nutty.
