Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 15, 2008 A Mes rate: gravicask at the Bricklayers. Clean dark gold with a slim but stable white head and excellent condition. Good spicy and herbal hop aroma with some balancing sweet, yet earthy malt. Strong earthy malt flavour with some slight tangerine and nuts. Refreshingly fruity with a really pleasant dusky, citric finish and a lasting bitterness. Palate is spot on for the style. Really enjoyable and drinkable. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Dec 10, 2007 Cask in the kirkside inn. Aroma was floural, malty and a bit watery. Taste is bitter, malty, floural, overly bitter and not much use. TheGrandMaster (1490), Auckland, New Zealand Jul 24, 2007 Bottle, poured a cloudy gold with a white bubbly head. A distinguished flowery malt aroma with strong caramal notes. Rich and malty caramal toffee flavours. Smooth. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 21, 2007 500ml bottle from Booths. Some malty fruit. cgarvieuk (2536), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 2, 2007 copper coloured ale, strong hoppy nose, lots of quenching fruit hop with bitter finish
