2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Home brew feel in the aroma, fruit, grapes, wheat maybe a little metallic. Light orange yellow in colour. Thin to no head with medium carb. Smooth texture, little fruity. Has a tnagy to metallic after notes. Nothing special but a decent ordinary brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Lingering bitterness dominates
A real bitter with plenty of body ane properly bottled. Very impressive label adds to the professionalism of this brewery. So much better than some micro’s with poor bottling and amateur labeling. They deserve to succeed.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this in Westermere, the Lake District, at the Spinners Wheel. Amber with a large head and excellent retention. Loads of caramel malt on the nose. Rich malt body with a prominent bitter finish. Well balanced and very good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle, from Fabeers, York. No sign of any sediment. My guess is this is filtered but not pasteurised. Golden amber colour, with a soft carbonation. Elusive aroma, with hints dry malt and a touch of chalky hop if you look hard enough. More nutty malt on the palate, with a little sweetness. A rush of citric bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is drying and slightly tart. Maybe a touch thin but this is a refreshing beer with a good balance of malt and hops.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml from Booths Supermarket. Amber coloured with a huge, difficult to control, head. After the difficulties of pouring and thus finding the aroma the beer is fairly decent, strong darkish malts dominate with a modicum of hops. Bitter throughout and dry on the finish, reasonable for a bottle.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rich lager, fruity, deep-- very nice. I found it a refreshingly good lager among myriad lagers that never cease to underperform.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled version. Good rocky head with good condition. Smells a little nutty with a butterscotch maltiness. Lots of nuts in the mouth (snigger)and a hint of hoppy bitterness that never quite gets the better of the dominant malt flavours.
