Bottle 50cl. @ ChrisOs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2010.

[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate yeasty, soap - cheese notes, coriander notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100731]

Brown 500ml bottle, best before 14 July 2010, drank early April 2010. Poured into a Batemans badged pint sleeve. Golden, very golden, lager like in fact. On top sat a very un-lager like huge white head, the head stayed too, heavy lacing clung to the glass as the beer level dropped. The aroma was of hops, as was the taste, it was also almost fizzy, so highly carbonated that I thought of a Belgian Blonde with added hop content. Very easy to drink, starts off semi-sweet and becomes bitter as the mouth dries, good value for the money.

If its a Barnsley Blonde then it’s come from a bottle! Pale and largely flavourless, dry on the palate

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is dominated by fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Golden and slightly tinny which was worrying as it was from a bottle. Some bitterness and a medium body. Cheap and not so cheerfull.

31st July 2010. ChrisO’s ’Raise The Roof’ tasting.
Hazy blond beer with a good white head. Light dry palate. Fruity citrus from the hop with a light hop bitterness. Okay.

Bottled@The Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF shindig. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some caramel and mild herbal notes. Flavour is quite much fruits, wood, some mild notes of bread and citrus. Not very exciting.
