COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Three little words that mean so much! Romance has always been close to any Tyke’s heart (and wallet), and now here’s a delicious ruby red ale to help celebrate any romantic occasion.

50 cl bottle, Rhythm and Booze. More amber than ruby, sweet caramel aroma with some ripe stone fruit. Balanced initially, then the bitter/sweet battles it out. Finishes more bitter, with a metallic lingering aftertaste.

22 Nov 2011: Yet another beer in the Barnsley collection, my 11th so far: again some fun in the name: Get Thi Coit, Tha’s Pulled! (get your coat young lady, you have an admirer). The food suggestion is also tongue in cheek: hot chops and pig’s heart being the choice. The 500ml brown bottle was poured into a Batemans badged UK pint sleeve. Lovely ruby red body, clear and almost bright: large bubbles on the head which was fairly thin and soon became thinner as the review progressed. The aroma arrived as the beer warmed, semi-sweet malty molasses and woody, earthy hops if you sniff heavily. The taste is more malts then hops although there is an undercurrent of hop bitterness below the malty front. Nutty feel to the taste as well: body depth fine, flavoursome and easy to drink. Another good value brew from Wentworth.

Deep red in colour, slight fruit and lots of hops on the taste with a dry hop finish on the palate

50cl bottle from Rhythm & Booze, Doncaster. Amber ale. Decent head. "Get thi coit, Tha’s Pulled" means "Get Your Coat, you’ve scored"....
