UPDATED: SEP 22, 2006 Deep brown colour. Woody and slightly sour with some roast malt and coffee hints. Not very full bodied, but overall a good characterful porter. Cask (handpump), Cats Back, Wandsworth, February 2005.

Cat’s Back, Wandsworth. Coffee flavoured dark beer. Hints of raspberry and sulphur with some glue and some sourness. Wine notes fade into soft twiggy bitterness. Interesting.

Cask @ That Cat’s Back, Wandsworth. Very dark beer, with a long-lasting, loose, ivory-coloured head. Sourish nose. Initial coffee hit with a long, dry sourish finish, somewhat reminiscent of a lambic. Very pleasant.

Black with a tan head. Dry coffee and light chocolate taste. Slightly acidic. Touch of berry and roast in the aroma. Not bad.
