Cask Conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Dark brown beer with chunky head. This uses deeply roasted malt to give a slightly smokey but fruity body, background nuttyness and a dryish bitterness. Good strength and palate.

1. Cask Stillage at the Union Bar, Barnsley 17/08/2002 Mid brown coloured malty beer with a slightly dry finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 24/08/2002 Mid brown coloured and very malty with a dry hoppy finish.
