Slight fruity and spicy nose. Hazy gold amber with medium head. Lemony sweet, some rosemary and burnt honey, slightly tart and bitter, seems a little off-balanced. Light carbonation, slightly heavier bodied, finish is citrusy, with just a hint of biscuit taste. I expected to like this more than I did, not horrible, just does not seem well put together.

AmEricanbrew (4080) - roam, Louisiana, USA - JUN 24, 2008
Clear amber with little head. Spicy, peppery dry malt aroma. Smooth light/medium body. Mild flavor is dry sourdough malts with spicy peppercorn. A decent beer but not flavorful enough to hold my interest for an entire glass.

Pours copper with a faint white head. Sweet malty nose, toasty caramel , some spicy hops. Flavor has a soft sweetness, much milder then I was expecting. Very flat tasting, the lack of carbonation leaves it a bit lifeless.

BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUN 11, 2008
Bottle: Pours a copper bronze color with a light white head and a little lacing. The nose is lightly fruity with a bit of biscuit and malt liquorishness. This could be straight out of Russia if you changed the label. The flavor is thin and light, very light sweetness and ample fruit. Light bitter tail to balance. Bland and kind of boring.

Orange to amber colored, quicly disapating head, low carbonation and no lace. Simple, sugary flavors, clean but boring.

No head on the pour with a nice warm smell of grains. The taste is kinda off and I can’t pinpoint the finish but it’s not great. Lots of grains in this one. I’m not going to do this one again.

BillKismet (2653) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 1, 2008
Medium amber color with a pleasant graininess in the aroma. Clean flavor with a prominent, enjoyable graininess, mild fruitiness and on the sweet side. Crisp and easy drinking. My favorite Baron brew by far.

Amber, no head. Aroma is light caramel, malt, alcoholic sweetness. Taste is caramel, light malt, light alcohol noticable. It’s alright.
