Caramel malts, nuts and a little butter in the aroma. Pours amber in color with almost no head. Flavor is sweet and malt accentuated with some nice nutty flavors and a little butterscotch. Finishes sweet with some lingering caramel notes. Pretty enjoyable!

After all the great things I have heard about this drink I was really dissapointed. Lightly spiced biscuit malt with muted nuttiness and a mildly sweet character. Very boring and plain.

Bottle courtesy of Larry Pitonka / 5000. Pour was typical for the style, nice initial head and lacing. The aroma was grass, caramel, and some off aroma. The flavor was better than the aroma, nothing off about it, grass featured much moreso than in others of this style, caramel. No great spiced nuances, this one taking a semi-pilsner route with the base beer. Mouthfeel was average body, carbonated. Thanks, Andre!

Copper beer , nice sized, frothy light tan head. Very soft toffeeish malt nose, almost English like, fudge like. Taste toffee, green apple peel, slightly floral, small hopping at end. Ok on the palte, easy enough to drink. I found this a nice easy to drink beer, but for some reason i thought this was an ale not a lager..oh well it is still OK.

Bomber courtesy of 5000. Pours copper with a small white head. Smells of roses, caramel and very ESB like. Tastes of caramel, earth, roses, some bitter malt. Lots of tea and roses in this one. Overall, not very representative of the category.

Great aroma of fresh chestnuts and milk caramel. bottle poured a solid 2 inch head over clear nut-brown. malty sweetness stays even and soft throughout. creamy finish reminds me more of an ale.

22 oz bottle from bottletrek.com. Pours a deep copper with a small wispy head. Mild German hop nose and sweet caramel. Sweet rich maltiness flavor, subtle fruitiness, with a smooth mouthfeel. Very easy drinking, very nice Marzen.
