Bottle:   Fiery golden in color, fairly clear, light carbonation, whispy lacing, minimal head.   Certainly smokey on the nose, very minor band-aid but thats to be expected.   Light smokiness on the tongue, malty, aformentioned band-aid.   Feels thicker from the bottle than on draught.   Nothing fancy about this one, but solid for a Rauchbier.   No ashtray, which I hate.   Does have a bit of band-aid, but I believe that to be from the type of malts.   Finish is clean, lingering smokiness that gradually fades.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Fairly enjoyable.   Would have loved to have some smoked meats with this one.

Bomber served in a dimpled mug. Sightly hazy burnt yellow with a short layer of froth. Unrinesque, yes pee-like, which isn’t real appetizing. Smoky Gouda nose. Interesting enough. The flavor is salty and sweet. Light-medium body, average carbonation, and somewhat creamy. Has a doughy finish that ends a little kippered and smoky. Not my cup o’ tea, er.. bottle o’ brew.

Picked up a single 22-oz bottle via Liquid Solutions in Oregon. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of golden grain and some caramel malt, smoked wood and a hint of berries. Taste is medium bodied, flavors of smoked bacon, golden grain malt, some light cheddar and a hint of tart berries. Finish is slightly metallic with aftertaste flavors of light smoked wood, golden grain malt and some floral hops. Very little bitterness.

On tap at baileys. Hazy amber with minimal head. I love cheese but why does this beer smell like a smokey Gouda? Ohno! It tastes like munster! Why someone would make this smokey cheesey beer is beyond me.
