2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 awaisanen (1312) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 17, 2008
On tap at Falling Rock, GABF 2008. Mostly cloudy, honey amber colored pour with a quickly dissipating head of off white. Grainy, husky, smoked malt notes with hints of corn and a light, raisiny munich character. Medium light bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a thin, flabby texture. Faint smoke flavors up fron on the palate with some thin, doughy malt. Light, crusty bread crust with a substantial amount of vegetal flab in the finish.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 BMan1113VR (6444) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 5, 2009
Bottle thanks to blutt59. Gusher. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body with a fading white head. Aroma of smoke, corn and barbecue. Taste is sweet, then acidic, with smoke, hot dogs, and a complete mess. Seems to be infected as far as I can tell. Fizzy and dry.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cmonster (681) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 29, 2009
Bomber served in a dimpled mug. Sightly hazy burnt yellow with a short layer of froth. Unrinesque, yes pee-like, which isn’t real appetizing. Smoky Gouda nose. Interesting enough. The flavor is salty and sweet. Light-medium body, average carbonation, and somewhat creamy. Has a doughy finish that ends a little kippered and smoky. Not my cup o’ tea, er.. bottle o’ brew.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 30, 2009
On tap at baileys. Hazy amber with minimal head. I love cheese but why does this beer smell like a smokey Gouda? Ohno! It tastes like munster! Why someone would make this smokey cheesey beer is beyond me.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ernest (5182) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2008
Draught, Falling Rock.
Head is fully diminishing.
Body is medium amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (grain, cereal), with notes of smoke, vegetables, and peach.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively/soft carbonation.
A truly sad brewery that is consistently poor in quality, but we’re all secretly rooting for anyway (we simply can’t have enough German-style beers IMHO).
