BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada May 21, 2008 Dark bronwy red beer with decent head. Aroma is toasty and malty with a touch of caramel. Beer is thin roasty with a touch of choclate and smoke at the finish. Good easy drinker.
VitaminR (279), Colorado, USA Aug 21, 2008 Smoky chocolate nose. Blackish brown, with medium head. Chocolate smoke sweetness, with mild hop bitterness. Fizzy, light to medium body, semi-clean finish. This seemed like a "Porter Light", interesting and refreshing dark beer. ebowman (10), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 16, 2008 On tap at Palace Kitchen in Seattle, WA - Pours very dark/black wthout much head. Aroma of cola/caramel. The taste itself is unremarkable and leaves a lot to be desired given the nice aroma. AmEricanbrew (1008), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Aug 13, 2008 Black with a viscous brown head. Yeasty, dry, black malt aroma. Medium body. Creamy smooth dark malt flavors are mildly sweet with a taste of earthy molasses. Very little if any bitterness in the finish. Glug glug burp burp best describes this beers drinkability. bhensonb (3006), Woodland, California, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bomber from Sondra. Blackish color with ruby translucence. Beige head that left quickly. Aromas of dark roasted malt and perhaps coffee and chocolate notes. Near medium body with light, fizzy carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour dark roast malt. Finish is rather balanced. Fairly refreshing.
