Picked up a single 22-oz bomber via trade with 5000. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some tropical fruit and floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, high alcohol character with flavors of caramel, brown sugar, and a touch of vanilla. Finish is slightly metallic with a caramel and light fruit aftertaste that slowly dissipates clean.

Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty fruity slightly alcoholic aroma with some weak hints of hops. Sweetish fruity malty warming alcohokic flavor. Has a sweetish malty fruity warming caramel finish.

Not as good as you hope a eisbock will be, with the knowledge of what they can be. Moderate carbonation in the bottle I tried. Cloudy. Some fruit and brown sugar. It really doesn’t make me think of an eisbock at all.

Tasting @ argo0’s place. Bomber courtesy of acrdz. Murky caramel with almost no head. Sweet caramel, mildly fruity. Almost no carbonation. Meh.

The aroma is odd with notes of caramel and vinegar. The beer pours a golden amber color with no head. The flavor is initially that of some caramel malts, sweet dark fruit, followed by a weird vinegar kind of note which might also be mistaken for almost rotten fruit. Alcohol is not as strong as what I would expect from this high abv, but I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing. To be honest, this one sucks. Baron needs to figure out how to not fuck up their bottles...

Bottle thanks to 5000: Pours a hazy copper orange with a thin ring of wispy white head. Aroma of light caramel malt and lager yeast with some tart strawberry notes that seem reminiscent of an infection. Body starts with decent fullness and caramel toffee sweetness with some peppery alcohol and lightly tart fruity character. Pretty easy to drink, but could be modeled off a better base beer.

Bottle... Cloudy orange lager with a small, fizzy, white head that dissipates almost immediately. Rich, fruity aroma. Honey and black cherries rise from the glass... light apricot too. Surprisingly thin for the style and accompanying high ABV. Medium to full-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and seltzer-like carbonation. Medium sweetness, mildly acidic and lightly bitter. Drinks like a 7% beer, but I do have a small buzz after only ½ of a glass. Crisp, mostly clean finish. Sort of refreshing... never thought I’d say that about an 13% eisbock. Odd for the style, but very good overall. Kudos to explosivebeer for shipping this one from the Northwest!

Bottle. Thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a hazy brownish-amber. Sweet malt aroma with fruit notes. Taste is also sweet, of malt and fruit. The alcohol is nicely hidden. Good carbonation and pleasant lingering crisp sweetness. Nice eisbock.
