COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Uber-Weisse is a traditional WeizenStarkbier. Similar to other wheat doppelbocks, this is high in alocohol and complex in flavor. Slights notes of roast, chocolate, banana and sweetness. 8.5% in strength. Very balanced with a big full body or wheat and malt. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Appearance: dark brown, wispy tan head,
Aroma: rich chocolate aroma with dark caramel kept dry lots of earthyness,
Flavor: rich malt flavor, dark caramel is as dry in the flavor as the aroma due the the big earthy character, light tartness, hint of banana adds the only hope for sweetness, light bitter and earthy finish,

Thanks 5000. Pours dead looking dark brown, whatever foam there is dissipates almost automatically. Aroma is spicy phenolics not backed up by anything else, comes off isopropanol like. Taste is light banana with a mineral finish. The body is way too thin and the beer comes off as a watered down mess. Could be nice with some body and a bit more backbone to the beer. It’s not undrinkable just badly crafted, could not drink much of it.
22oz bottle, St Paul tulip/snifter glass.

Bottle: Aroma is moderately grainy with very faint notes of banana and chocolate. It pours sort of a muddy brown with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with lots of grain and faint chocolate with moderate sour fruit in the finish. Light-medium bodied with minimal carbonation and somewhat watery mouthfeel. Not very Weizen Bock-like.

Bomber poured a clear dark brown with garnet highlights a nd a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of carmel, wheat, fruittiness and spice. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a watery finish. Flavors of carmel, wheat, light fruittiness and a hint of spice with a smooth watery bittersweet finish. One of the worst Weizen bocks I have ever had, what a dissapointment!

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (popcorn, caramel, husks), with light notes of gum and clove. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively/soft carbonation. Quite crude and rather unpleasant.

Has a bad sour aroma. Flavor is also soure with a bad metallic bite. A thin finish leaves this beer truly disappointing.
