COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Žatecko je kraj, ve světě proslulý svým jedinečným chmelem. Právě žatecký chmel dává žateckým pivům jejich nezaměnitelný charakter. I proto byl Žatec po staletí bohatým královským městem. Žatecký chmel a slad, vyrobený z místního ječmene, byly vždy zárukou dobrých várek piva. 13,1°

50cl bottle. Pours almost clear golden colour with a small most good lasting white head. Aroma of grains, mild hops, some sweet malt. Taste of sweet malt, grains, mild spicy hops, nothing special.

Bottle 27.05.16. Aroma of grain, alcohol and slightly hoppy. Golden coloured clear beer, white head disappers fast. In taste malt, bread and unfortunately diacetyl. Aftertaste is too sour, it bites throat. Alcohol is sensible. Hoppiness is medium but very nice. Average carbonation fits well. Despite its defects, beer is quite nice and drinkable.

500ml bottle from Premium Czech Beers online. Pours clear gold, short-lived white head. Quite low carbonation. Aromas of honey, grains, faint butterscotch, corn. Taste is thin, watery, sweet - more honey. Thin finish.

Oh, I think we’ve gone from circling the drain to being right in it. This one is bad, truly bad, bad like only a macro lager could be - makes sense that this is a macro subsidiary, it tastes like all the crap that Carlsberg has pumped out over the years around the world. Shall I bring up the nasty hangover of ’09, when I woke up after a massive bender in Malawi subsequent to sampling their bottles of bilge they manufacture in that country and pass off as "beer"? Well, that’s a story for another time at least. Six years later I’m in Prague getting hammered on these massive beer flight trays at the Prague Beer Museum (God bless ’em) and had I not smashed a few low numbers into my phone while drinking this I would have forgotten about it entirely. So there it is - forgettable. Hell, they could produce all these lagers in one place and mix up the labels and no one would notice. Though perhaps maybe they already do.....

0,5 litrová fľaša z 1. pivotéky v Nitre. Pena po naliatí dosť rýchlo mizla, vyššia rezkosť, ale chuť perfektne vyvážená. Jemná horkosť so sladom, parádne pivo.

Vanished off-white head, golden clear body with faint straw golden tones, and lacings...ehh... this baroness is naked...oh my god. Aroma of caramel malts, sweet dusty hops and toffee fudge. Taste; caramel malts, fresh hops, grains, bread, faint spices or herbs. Normal on palate, normal carbonation and body for its style. Quite mild finish, with hops and malts, hoppy grains, and a baroness’ kiss. Decent cz pilsener. [50cl brown bottle, abv5.3%, l2.7°, BB30.01.15]

malty and, a little bit, hoppy aroma with shades of fruits... rather clear taste with notes of corn... smooth hoppy bitterness... dry bitter aftertaste... very nice Czech pilsner...

Egészen különleges, magával ragadó bodzás, gyógynövényes, üde aroma egy lágy karakterű testben. Igazi csemege.

Bottle. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is corny and malty. Light bitterness. Light body. Very simple beer, but not bad overall.
