COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for Barons Brewing by AIB

The first beer released is the Wattle Seed Ale, which starts with a blend of Australian and European malts, creating a rich flavour base of caramel with a hint of chocolate. The smooth malt flavours are lightly hopped and then infused with roasted Wattle Seed, bringing a unique and authentic Australian flavour to this fine red ale. The result is an outstanding ale that boasts a smooth taste profile balancing its robust character, an ultimately rewarding yet distinctive beer. Native Range. Formerly Barons Black Wattle Superior Wattle Seed Ale.

Medium amber colored body with a light khaki colored head. The aroma is amaretto with some caramel. The taste is rich with some toffee and fall leaves. There is a nice undertone of apple cores. The smooth light body helps makes this drinkable. This is a lot like a marzen and a nice brew.

Really enjoyed this unique beer! Awesome twist to it with the wattle. Caramel and chocolate add great compliments slightly malty beer. Would buy again in a second.

This looks like Coca Cola in the glass. Nice yeasty aroma and pleasantly robust flavor. Iím not sure what wattle seeds taste like, or if it is good idea to eat them, but this brew tastes a bit like a dunkel or a schwarzbier - roasted grains, caramel, smooth, with a hint of herbs, and a mild aftertaste. Very nice.

iím not a big fan of wattle seed and definately not in my beer. Itís just not a good match in my opinion. But if you like wattle seed and beer you might fancy this drop.

Bottle poured a clear brown with a small diminishing tan head. Aromas of tootsie roll, carmel, light nuts and a hint of toffe. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of milk chocolate, light carmel and a hint of nuts with a crisp lightly dry malty finish.

Pours out the color of thin coffee with a minimal head. Roasted hazelnut aroma with a touch of sweetness. Taste has the same roasted maltiness in it. Very smooth easy drink, not overpowering. Worth a try.

Snagged a 6-er at Publix. Poured dark amber and 2 cm. of tan head with an off-white rim. Great lacing. Nose is roasted malt, honey, and caramel. My mouth received notes of banana, clove, more caramel, slight coffee, subtle hops, and cucumber in the finish. Medium carbonation/body. Smooth and refreshing. Not bad.

Tap @ Croxley Ales, Rockville Centre, NY. Pours a deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is heavy dark chocolate with malt characteristics as well. Taste is chocolate up front dissolving into a delightful mix of caramel, toffee, nuts, and malt. I liked this.

Tap at HDG. Brown coloured beer with a sweet malty aroma. Light caramelly backing notes. Toasted malt, brown sugar and a touch of maple sweetness. Nice caramelly maltiness. Fairly sweet with a bit of herbal bitterness. Malts seem decocted and have a vaguely dunkel-ish quality to them that is tough to describe. Nutty finish. Decent brew.
