2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bhensonb (7577) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 27, 2008
330 ml. bottle. LIght aromas of malt and hop. Light, bright copper color with very little head. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Malt and hop, though neither in great amount. More of an ESB than a pale. Could be a golden. The icy cold advice must be unique to down under. Finishes rather clean; arguably refreshing. Probably a session kind of thing; might improve with quantity.

12 oz bottle. Pale golden beer, thin white head. Light aroma, some earthy hops over light pale malt. A bit of toast and lightly fruity. Ok.

Pours a transparent deep golden with a thin-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of semi-sweet pale malts and some floral noble hops. Starts lightly sweet and toasty with some grassy hop bitterness before a thinner, mild bittersweet finish. Pretty mild and dull, but true to style.

This one was mediocre at best. Clear deep gold pour, with pale malt, slight honey and apricot in the nose, and pale malt, slight hops, and slight fruit in the taste, with a medium to light palate heft.

Bottle. Pours a golden pale body with a white head. Light grainy malt body with some earthy bitterness. Simple, eh.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - APR 14, 2008
Bottle: Pale copper color, light white head and sticky lacing. Nose of thin cheap malts, light metal and very subtle noble hops. Crisp though with a lot of corn. The flavor is light but malty, a sweeter finish. Dusty grainy finish. Corn, dust, metal, sweet malts, this has everything!

bottled. simple clear golden with an ambivalent head; syruppy crystal malt aroma with faint grassiness; light caramel and tinned peach finish; nothing to get excited about

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours yellow with bright white head. The aroma is sweet sweet pale maltiness and mild earthy, floral hops and hay. The flavor is similar with sweet sweet maltiness cut by some mild floral hops. OK beer for a hot weather experience.

Nice gold body with a bright white head. The aroma is glazed donuts and lemon scented Pine Sol. The taste has some notes of light lemon peel zest and biscuits. There is a little hint of black pepper spice in the finish. This is an ok beer and I would tend to agree with the suggestion of drinking cold.
