Medium size, lasting white head on a slightly murky, dull orange body. Florally hop aroma with similar characters in the taste, light to medium body with a good length of finish.

Tap at the brewery. Murky amber pour with a small off white head. Nose is dominated by toffee malts with a light pine hop behind it all. Not the hop bomb that the staff said it was. Very caramel malt dominated with light pine through the finish. Sticky mouth feel. Average

ALLOVATE (1705) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - FEB 15, 2012
A decent effort all round. Had that ridiculously easy drinking harmony of flavour that makes a killer session beer. It poured all lively and fierce, a surging, billowing, rocky crown, just off-white, that streams up and holds, well fuelled by the ruckus below. The body a honey tinged, hazy amber. Subtley sweet, tangy marmalade and Golden Syrup, toffeish notes on the nose with little flickers of hay, guava and bitter grapefruit. A shift in the mouth towards candied pear, spiced apple, grapefruit and a little marmalade. Oddly it is mostly dry across the palate; a sunny, toasted malt flavour is quite pronounced. The hops in check, fresh with a floral, earthy hint on the swallow. Everything is delicately placed but not hidden. The body light and carbonation adequate, the finish clean with light hop and malt fading off quickly. I like it. More a Golden than APA, but each to their own! A nice drop if it was your local. bluebetty (880) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2011
Bottle. Pours a golden orange with creamy coloured head. Fairly subtle aromas with some honey and light caramel showing through against some light floral hops. Not to bad. Flavours show plenty of malt sweetness with some hops balancing the finish. Not too bad but agree with jonno that it needs something to make it special.

bozoNZ (671) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 11, 2010
Dry pine aroma. Has some good charachtes about it this beer. Malt feel has some tight sweetness and is well balanced with the dry hop bitterness. Peppery and a little herbal, nice finish.

Davros (1020) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2010
Pours amber with a small creamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with floral and spicy notes also showing. Lots of caramel and honey underneath. Malt dominates the flavours, lots more honey and caramel until the bold hoppy bitter finish. Well balanced. Too much carbonation. Slick rich body.

BeerChaser0078 (880) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2010
Bottle. Clear golden amber pour with a foamy white head that lasts a while. Aroma is quite light and only has fairly subtle hop notes, but is more grainy with a hint of honey. Flavour has a stronger hop presence, with citrus and resin, but is still somewhat restrained whereas the malt is still strong. Light, almost watery mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. This is definitely more like an APA than an IPA, and only a fair one at that.
