Bottle, 6.9%. Refreshing aroma, rough hoppiness. Clear dark golden colour. Small semi-stable white head. The flavour has a distinct caramelly maltiness, but is not too sweet. Medium bitterness, very clean. Good alcohol flavour in the finish and a nice mouthfeel.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2008 Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Butter malty nose. Sweet and rounded with solid, well organized maltiness. Flavour of grain and butter, covered in thick layers of grass. Slight salty bitterness. Well made!

Small bottle, looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts strong, fine spicy, modest sweet background. Finish still strong, not too dry, soft touch of lemon. Well balanced. Good maibock!

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, yet another great tasting @ Henrik´s] Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a golden color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of bread, toasted malt, distant fruit, some metallic notes over the palate. Medium bodied with a somewhat surprisingly thick and light alcoholic texture for a Heller Bock. A soft carbonation. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor. Bitter finish. 18-09-2007

Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090313]

Small white head, fast gone over golden beer with an orange shine and big bubbles. Orangezest, (bitter) almonds, malt. Soft-sweet, almondy flavoured beer; very (pale) malty, little carbonation left after a short time. Not full bodied, but very slick, nearly viscous texture. Alcohol warming. Run-of-the-mill Maibock.
