COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the early 20th century, Cincinnati was presided over by the strong armed political power broker George "Boss" Cox. Holding court high above an Over-The-Rhine saloon, "Boss" Cox’s authoritative grip on the city could often be relaxed with a smoked sausage and a hearty brew. Our Double Dark IPA infuses a bold, delicious malty character with copious amounts of American and European hop bitterness. There’s a new boss in town. Malts: 2-row, Munich, Carapils, and Caramel ;Hops: Cluster, Cascade, Czech Saaz ;Color: Ruby ;Food Complement: Steak, prime rib, venison, spicy dishes

Firkin at MRAF at Barley’s Smokehouse - Columbus Ohio - Pours slightly cloudy and dark copper almost brown with an enormous bubbly tan head that laced some. Aroma is light grapefruit but nothing overpowering. Flavor is caramel malts blended with wonderful grapefruit bitterness. Finish is bitter but other than that there is great balance in this brew. Smooth and creamy.. Nice IPA!
