3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2006
bomber thanks to Ohiodad. Pours a light amber with mod carbonation and a nice lasting white head. Aroma is nice thick sweet caramel malts then a light floral and citrus hop backbone. Flavor is a bit hoppy with nice ctrus tones, but the thing that really hits you is a sharp dark crystal malt character. Very well balanced pale ale. Good sweet mouthfeel and nice finish. Very tasty pale ale.

Slight amber in color with a decent white head that had some good lacing. Tasted of just a bit of hops, but some sweet tastes in there as well. Some fruity taste, but on the light side. Tasted a bit watered down, but very good none the less.

Clear light copper/amber with a small head. Hoppy aroma with pine, pith, and lemon pepper. Malty, bready sweetness in the flavor. Lingering hops and candied fruits. Touch of caramel

A decent-looking brew: lush, white head over a copper-hued body. Juicy, fruity aroma - ever-so-slightly hoppy and sweet. Pleasat, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Tart hops that are well-blended with the sweet malts. A very easy beer to drink, as it is very smooth and low in alcohol. Delicate flavor of hops. I would definetly drink this again.

Bomber as an extra in a trade with OhioDad (thanks Scott) - a pretty solid, well-balanced APA - bright, light orange color, with minimal, but lasting head - mellow, dry-hopped aroma, with herbal notes and a bit of a sweet, bread/malt smell - medium-bodied, crisp, refreshing - light citrus and peach in the flavor, with a mild biscuity quality that compliments the late hop dryness pretty well - great beer for this weather.

Crystal clear medium copper color with medium sized off white head. Aroma has fair amount of herbal hops with bit of light caramel, hint of apricot. Flavor is mildly hoppy, bit of caramel and kilned malts, with a mildly bitter, balanced finish.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 sliffy (2036) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 15, 2006
Bottle: Copper color with a thin white head. Aroma lots of pale and caramel malts, along with citrusy and earthy hops. Flavor was divine, a light maltiness, to go with a crisp and refreshing earthy hop finish. A low enough abv that I could down this stuff by the gallon. Definitely worth a try.

I was not expecting much from this but this was actually one of the most balanced APA i have ever had. On some of the highly hopped beers it is tough to make out the malt profile but this beer allowed everything to come out and was not overly aggressive. This was a solid beer but a little low on the alcohol just like all of their beers are.
