Commercial Description: Well balanced, with the emphasis on the malty quality. There's plenty of hop character in here (although the bitterness is low), but it's the toasty, malty flavor that stands out.
A fine "beginner's" brown ale, I tend to think this brew is underhopped and light on body. Still, it is an enjoyable beer, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to friends.
