average creamy white head. good lacing. mostly diminishing. clear average dark yellow body. aroma: moderate malty, light bread, light hoppy. if and ff: moderate sweet; average duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish.

12oz screw top bottle. Purchased at Ocean State Job Lot. Pretty much what I expected but couldn’t resist trying it. Bottom of the barrel.

Tastes like liquid smoke with a little honey. A darker flavored Amber ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where and how: HT, bottle 355 ml
Aroma rough, boozy front with toasted malts. At least it does have nice hop backing. Honey like accents on top end.
Appearance :
Top: lighter fizzy top.
Base: clear golden.
Palate : mid-lighter body.
Taste: Reminds me of our local Sleeman offerings. Decent front feel but substance does not carry for long. Forgettable finish.
other notes still, fairly clean run-of-the-mill choice.

Bottle. Clear, amber, no head. Almost no aroma at all except a syrupy note. Taste is overwhelmingly sweet. Some cough syrup and licorice. Any other flavor that may or may not be there is not noticeable. Palate is oily and flat. Too bad I bought a 12 pack.
