At ABC, 12 ounce bottle, didnt pour amber, but had a lot of malt flavors close to an amber, touch of honey and apples, interesting take on an amber.

Out of a bottle, but not too bad. Thes a malty aftertaste and possibly a hint of chocolate hidden.

Bottle from a Save-Mart. Pours more gold than amber. Small creamy near-white head. Very, very light aroma of caramel. Med body almost. Flavor is light caramel with some sort of light hoppy bitter. The finish is sort of that way. It’s balanced, but there are so few ingredients that that seems inappropriate to evaluate. But it’s way, way ahead of the macro lagers!

Holy crap is this bad. Reeks of macro. Bland cardboard, weak mouthfeel, and winey sour taste of rice and corn adjuncts. Did they even use a hint of hops? Even a hint? All grain taste of what there is if any. Almost completely aroma free. How? Some people would probably want to know how you could make an amber with literally nothing behind it. Hideous.

The aroma is pretty plain with sweet malt and hay like hops. The appearance is very light amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a slight fruitiness. The palate is average. Overall this is good but it’s not really an amber.

11/22/11. 12oz bottle. Very light pour for an amber... clear, light copper at best, under a small, creamy khaki head that’s gone fast. Light aroma of caramel, powdered sugar, fusel alcohols, and a bit of metal. This smells like a wussy malt liquor. Sweet rusty caramel flavor as well. Man, this is not great.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Liquors - Kerry Forest - 12 oz bottle. Light copper pour, sparkling, with a thing white head that sticks around. Very neutral aroma - pick up some very faint hard candy notes. Flavor is very bland and just tastes cheap. Some faint caramel notes, brief citrus - but not in a bitter way - more like artificial orange flavor. Mouthfeel is thin and slightly stinging. Did not expect much - so not disappointed.
