2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Braudog (4606) - Hampton, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Bottle. Golden amber with an average head. This drinks with a very even keel, with just the barest kiss of hops and an acidic finish. It’s inoffensive in almost every manner, but doesn’t stand out in anyway either. (#4246, 9/10/2011)

12 ounce bottle that poured a golden color, aroma of malt, and grassy hops. Flavor is the same, an average beer overall, exactly what I expected.

Bottle from a Save-Mart. Pours light amber with a light beige head. Aroma of light roast malt with a hint of citrus. Med body plus. Frothy carb helps with the body. The malt is roasty enough to qualify for APA, and there’s some light hop bitter which seems citrus. A decent ale, but certainly not one to excite the nose and mouth.

The aroma is a balance of malt and hops but does not impress. The appearance is deep gold with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Surprise it’s average!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jgb9348 (3490) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Clearish golden coloured body with a light copper hue and a thin, fast-dying off-white head with a pretty ugly lace. Aroma of pale malt, light hops, alcohol and a lot of grass and perfume. Light-bodied; Soapy flavour at first with some potent grassy and pungent hops. Aftertaste has more of a balance with the hops and malt with a little sweet finish and a touch of grass at the very end too. Overall, not a good pale, with more of a grassy and perfumey note than one would typically like, but not a very bad beer - just okay. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, sampled in New Paltz, New York on 10-December-2011.

12oz bottle from ABC. Gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is grain, flowers and soap. Tastes are weak earthy caramel, bready and light citrus. Metallic in the light bitter fin.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 drowland (3881) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 21, 2011
11/21/11. 12oz bottle. Clear amber/copper/dark orange pour with a small, clumpy khaki head that’s gone fast and barely laces. Generic, dusty old hop aroma of earth with a bit of orange peel and metal. Sweet, caramel flavors with butterscotch and definite hints of ketchup and metal. Perhaps not disgusting, but definitely dissatisfying. Blegho.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Kerry Forest - 12 oz. Dark golden pour, thin, but persistent white head. Aroma has a slight spruce hint to it - not unpleasant. Flavor has a slightly tangy and bitter bent to it with some brief citrus notes, some nuttiness and some bready doughy notes. Mouthfeel is nice and clean. Much better than expected.
