3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at Croxley’s Ale House, /14
Aroma: The aroma is clean and malty, caramel and bread mostly, with some citrus notes
Appearance: This one pours a copper-amber color with a beige head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor is clean and malty, not overly sweet, with a mild, dull hop presence
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, clean feel, a soft carbonation, and a light dry finish
I thought this was an okay, but a little dull beer. It is plenty drinkable with a nice feel, it just didn’t do enough for me flavor-wise.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Dark copper color with beige head. Lovely, fresh perfume of green bud, pine train, caramel and light grapefruit. Goddamn, this beer smells nice. Taste is a mild let down, but still enjoyable. Medium body, average carbonation. Great hop undergirding. Tootsie Roll melted in for sweetness. Flavors struggle against each other, need to be reconciled.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Miles, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pours red with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some lightly fruity hops. Taste is just a tad sweet. Nice underlying hoppiness. Ultimately, I was expecting a tad more. But this was still a nice brew from Barrier.

Light amber body, medium off-white head, spotty lacing. Caramel, pine, and light citrus. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, restrained sweetness for an amber, light bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is the best part of this beer. However, that's not to take away from the other redeeming qualities. It's a good overall IPA.
Pours a dark amber/red. Earthy, full bodied.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A reddish copper amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with nutty notes, and grassy resinous hops, nice. In mouth, a smooth nutty malt with light roasted notes and resinous hops, decent. On tap at Rattle N Hum.

My personal favorite.
