3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On Tap at R&H. Hop notes of light burnt orange after a rust orange pour. Notes of citrus dominate along side a nice spice and deep rye grain malt backbone. Good finish that contains length.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Pony Bar. Pours a cloudy gold with an amber hue and a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges and laced. Aroma had a nice combination of citrus rind, bread, grain and light pine with just a bit of grass. Flavor began with citrus rind, grain and slight spice with a nice growing pine note to round out the beer nicely.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is one of the few rye beers that sat well with me, and all the more rare being an IPA to boot. It had a nice opening hop profile, but it held fast with the malts and at the same time didn’t strike any odd notes. Great spectrum of IPA flavors, decent palate, good finish. (on tap at Rattle N Hum, NYC)

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The aroma is light, sweet, pleasant notes of hops, subtle and light citrus. The beer pours amber orange with a light golden hue and white head. The flavor starts out light with a golden ale flavor, not sweetness at all though, and then settles with grapefruit citrus that settles well on the palate.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresh aroma of light citrus and a decent spicy rye, with background sweet malts to round it out. Medium, smooth body. The flavor has a noticeable rye bite that really chews at your tongue until the fruity hops refresh you enough for another gul. Top notch.

4.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Not your typical rye IPA, this is a smooth balance of grains, hops, and alchohol. Tasted on tap at TAP NY Festival, and its no wonder they took the Cup!
