3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mango cask at barcade dry hopped with Chinook. Pours hazy orange with a dense soft head and crazy lace. Aroma is less tropical than you’d think and lots of grapefruit pith, grain, and pine. Flavor is more mango flavor and sweetness to start but quickly picks up plenty of pithy grapefruit bitterness very clean that goes and goes. Feel is dense, alive, lush. Really nice cask IPA, perhaps the best I can remember having.

Smells like you?re chasing a skunk through a pine forest. Tastes like a perfectly charred corn tortilla rapped around a bit of pollo loco chicken skin. Sweetness, bitterness and a little ground Chile and cumin.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer tastes like bubble gum. There's a deep hop flavor up front then a crisp bitterness followed by a rich (but not too sweet) malt. A really good IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Alewife: Copper pour with an off white head. Clean cascade aroma with a touch of crystal malt back. Light-medium body. Herbal resiny rich cascade flavor. Clean and feels west coast. Cery similar to many of Sierra Nevadas IPAs. Not bad.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Draft from Barrier brewery. Reminds me of Founders Centennial IPA. Has the biscuit malt backbone. But an added kiwi/lime bitterness. Despite some very assertive flavors, it’s not heavy or cloying in any way. Incredibly, it manages to stay light and smooth.

Growler from the brewery. Hazy pale copper with lasting head and lace. Grapefruit hop and mile piney resin aroma., Refreshing fresh fruity mild apricot toasted biscuit cracker and assertive spicy floral citrus very dry bitter finish. Awesome creamy medium full mouthfeel. Incredibly fresh, which helps. Nice job. Excellent!

On Tap at R&H. Hop notes of light burnt orange after a rust orange pour. Notes of citrus dominate along side a nice spice and deep rye grain malt backbone. Good finish that contains length.
