Aroma: The aroma is a bit fruity, with some malty notes, a bit of hop, and some spice
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, a little sweet, a little bit spicy, and a little bit tart too
Palate: The body is fairly light, but not overly watery considering that it clocks in under 4%
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid beer. It isn’t anything amazing, but it’s nice to try a solidly made low alcohol beer every now and again (especially in the midst of a festival). Good stuff.

Shaker pint draft at The Good Life in Massapequa Park, New York. The pour is a hazed orange golden, with a 1/2 inch fizzy white head. The aroma is light citrus, tart sourness, a touch of sweet malt, and not too much else. The taste has a nice light citrus tart zippiness to it, gentle salt (hey, I just got the name) along with a light toast malt underneath. There is a touch of straw and a slight dirty mineral to the finish. The palate is light bodied, with a bright soft fine carbonation, and a nice unfiltered mouth feel. Crisp easy drinking beer, nice body considering the low ABV.

On draught. Pours a lightly hazed amber with no head at all. Mild lemon and malt in the aroma along with some noticeable salt. The flavor is decidedly bland with weak malt and a solid dose of salt. Watery body only adds to the blandness. Not something I would look to sample again.

Tap at Alewife Queens. Pours copper orange with sopay white head. tastes of wheat, lemony citrus, wet cardboard, woody, and hay. Its slightly sour and lightly carbonated.

On tap at Pony Bar NYC, poured into a shaker glass. Slightly hazy amber color with no head. Minor mineral nose with some sea notes, light citrus and soft malt. No hop aroma at all. Lemony flavor, salt, wheat tang, low bitterness. Effervescent, spritzy, dry and actually drinkable.

Draft. Pours dark amber. Nose and taste of salt, lightly tart fruit, banana, wheat malt and light spice. Medium body. A little watery.

Bar Great Harry, NY tap ($6): Pours an orange colour with a small head. Aroma is lemon and wheat. Taste is mostly lemony, with a heavy mineral feel throughout. ’Tis rather salty, but not in a bad way. Really light, but full-flavoured. Does have a nice aftertaste.

Big flavor considering so little alcohol. Citrus and slightly savory aroma with a caramel character.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma is quite bready and crackery. Flavor of the same breadiness and it also has a distinct sea salt character and mineral notes in the finish. It’s fairly simple and straightforward, with a little extra nuances from the coriander and sea salt. I haven’t had too many Goses, so it’s hard to compare the beer. It is enjoyable, but a little bland. 7/4/6/4/13 [3.4/5]

A: The beer pours a lightly cloudy golden orange color with a dense white head. S: This is even hard to smell. The butter aroma is absolutely overwhelming. I get a bit of salt and lemon zest, but the butter just kills everything. A touch of wheat and popcorn. T: Tastes of butter as well. The salt, light tartness, and even malt flavors are really lost here because all you can taste is the diacetyl. Simply unpleasant. M: On the light side of medium in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: This is just awful. Though, you might sprinkle this on some popcorn.
