3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Rattle, where Joe and I stopped on our way to meet up with Zach prior to going to Get Real NY. Pours a hazed orange with a thin white head. Dirty citrus, earth and toast. Earthy malt, cool and clean. Nice earth notes, pungent but not overpowering. Very well balanced, caramel and malt. Long grapefruit bitterness. Very nice stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Dive Bar. Hazy amber pour. Thick white head. The nose is fairly light. A touch of soft spicy hoppiness. Minerally bitterness and a kiss of light caramel malt as well. Surprisingly lean-bodied with a nice crackery dryness on the back. A little kiss of fruity character on the back. It’s simple, easy-drinking pale ale. Assertively hopped.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A decent pale ale. Draft. Head is white cream color, but fades rapidly. Dark golden color, fairly clear, but the beer is unfiltered and has had time to settle. Aroma is very subtle, some alcohol and hop notes. Flavor is an early malty flavor with a pine-hops flavor at the finish which fades quickly. Decent.
