4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Pacific Standard. WOW- one of the best APAs I have had in a long time. Pours a nice clear light copper/pale orange with a nice sticky thin head- lasting with lace. Aroma is very nicely balanced between a firm fresh crackery pale malt light sweetness and a strong citrusy pnw hop profile- citrus, grapefruit, and light pine. Flavor is very hoppy and bitter but there is somehow a very strong pale malt backbone which does not get sweet at all, does not thin out, but is just solid and lets most of the hops come through- light cracker, slight toffee, biscuit and bread then grass, grapefruit, orange, and slight leafy pine needle. Finish is so damn smooth- ridiculously easy to drink with a very clean firm bitterness in the end. Loved it!

Growler purchased from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, hop oils, bready malt. Flavor of bready malts, light fruits, floral and citrus hops. A very tasty pale ale, on the hoppy side, super drinkable.

On tap at Rattle, where Joe and I stopped on our way to meet up with Zach prior to going to Get Real NY. Pours a hazed orange with a thin white head. Dirty citrus, earth and toast. Earthy malt, cool and clean. Nice earth notes, pungent but not overpowering. Very well balanced, caramel and malt. Long grapefruit bitterness. Very nice stuff.

Pours clear blonde . Small white head . Smell is floral , malty . Taste is sharp , dry bitterness . A grassy aspect to it . I guess some target hops were used ( dont know this as an actual fact, just what I think by the taste ) But in such a damn nice way !

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at a tasting at Big Z in Huntington, NY - lightly hazy gold - good head retention - a very dry, crisp, biscuity pale ale, with a decent pale malt and yeasty heft to it that helps it maintain a nice, full body for the style - lightly grassy and moderately bitter, despite the high hop profile - very tasty.

Draft. Pours a hazy orange body with a white head. Aromatically hoppy but lightly at that. Hints of citrus and earth tones. Flavor is soft and hoppy very lean with a lightly grass like hop tone to finish. Easy drinking pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Dive Bar. Hazy amber pour. Thick white head. The nose is fairly light. A touch of soft spicy hoppiness. Minerally bitterness and a kiss of light caramel malt as well. Surprisingly lean-bodied with a nice crackery dryness on the back. A little kiss of fruity character on the back. It’s simple, easy-drinking pale ale. Assertively hopped.
