3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 LilBeerDoctor (2609) - East Setauket, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of hop resins, grassy hops, citrus, and light fruits. Flavor of tangy fruits, salsa, jam, floral hops. A lot fruitier and less hoppy than the aroma suggests but quite good. I don’t quite see it as an English ipa but it is probably closer to one than most ipas. Interesting beer.

Draught, 7%. Fresh-cut grass aroma, a bit herbal. Cloudy amber colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is a bit like the aroma, grassy and herbal, but not really in the good way. OK bitterness, but a bit sour.

Tap at RnH - Arouma is sweet, bicsuity malts and fruit. Has a dusty, dry hop note over grainy, sweet malts. Oxidized fruit juices. Dry astringent finish with crystal malts and a stale cracker aftertaste.
