A golden IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, pungent floral hops with nice biscuit malt, nice light funk. In mouth, a nice smooth well balanced IPA with biscuit malt, piney grassy notes, citrus hops, alcohol warmth, quite nice. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.

Growler @ RBWG. Pours a golden yellow appearance with a white head. Big onion, spicy hoppy, grapefruity aroma. Pretty dry. Minimal bitterness. Nice hip expression. This one is money.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #96. Growler very emphatically shared by MaxxDaddy at the Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, resin, herbal hops, pale malts. The taste is herbal, resin hops and pale malts. Medium bodied.

3fourths (8238) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Lightly hazed gold with a white head. Pine resin, BO / must, cheese rind, pepper / spice and such in the nose. Simcoe comes to mind given the mild shallot and garlic notes. Musty BO odors may be from yeast rather than hops. Lightly sweet, highly bitter, medium acid. Malt is soft, carbonation fine giving it a creamy texture. Typical resinous American IPA.

Pouring at TAPNY. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Big citrus and grapefruit dripping on the nose. Lots of sweet hops, light malt and candied citrus. Super big citrus flavors. Long bitter finish full of pithy grapefruit and quinine. Amazing stuff. Beer of the fest probably.

phaleslu (6837) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2014
MaxxDaddy garbage shared at RBWG, Le Grande Tastinge. Pours a clear, bright gold color without much head. Notes of citrus and tropical fruits, sweet and cereal malts, herbs, and florals. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bright, clean mouthfeel. Nice, easy-drinking IPA that seems like less than 7.3%.

in short: a splendid blond ipa bursting with grapefruits and tropical fruits. as tasty as it is refreshing. great beer.
how: tap at tap-ny 2012, multiple samples
The look: almost clear blond body topped by a small white head
In long: nose is intensely grapefruity with also plenty of tropical fruits. taste has a solid pale bready malt backbone that provides body but doesn’t contribute much to the overall flavor. this one is all about the fresh and bright hops, grapefruits, pineaples, mangos, others. very tasty but the bitterness is never aggressive, nothing resinous, this one is all about refreshing bright freshness. my beer of the day at tap-ny 2012. the only thing i didn’t like about this beer is its name, i wrote my entire rating in lowercase because i hate capitalism.

Bottle at the RBWG grand tasting. Pours a yellow golden color with a small, fine white head. The aroma and flavor have resiny, catty and citrusy hops, pale and caramel malts, grapefruit with some herbal notes.
