Growler from McBreens. Copper with chill haze head and lace. Incredible, explosive floral citrus aroma. Mildly fruity tangerine sweetness with some crackery malts and extremely clean tangerine juicy medium assertive dry finish. Lively carbo accentuates the hops. Nice refreshing medium light body, especially for abv. Fucking excellent.

in short: a splendid blond ipa bursting with grapefruits and tropical fruits. as tasty as it is refreshing. great beer.
how: tap at tap-ny 2012, multiple samples
The look: almost clear blond body topped by a small white head
In long: nose is intensely grapefruity with also plenty of tropical fruits. taste has a solid pale bready malt backbone that provides body but doesn’t contribute much to the overall flavor. this one is all about the fresh and bright hops, grapefruits, pineaples, mangos, others. very tasty but the bitterness is never aggressive, nothing resinous, this one is all about refreshing bright freshness. my beer of the day at tap-ny 2012. the only thing i didn’t like about this beer is its name, i wrote my entire rating in lowercase because i hate capitalism.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2013 Tap at ginger man. Beautiful juicy fresh grapefruit. Citrus tropical fruits. Hint of clementine sweetness. Awesome balance. Awesome clean hop character. Not Abrasive at all. Just a great clean juicy citrus refreshing IPA. Awesome.

Pouring at TAPNY. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Big citrus and grapefruit dripping on the nose. Lots of sweet hops, light malt and candied citrus. Super big citrus flavors. Long bitter finish full of pithy grapefruit and quinine. Amazing stuff. Beer of the fest probably.

Growler shared by Maxxdaddy during RBWG GT. Poured a light golden yellow with an average sized foamy off white head. Aroma/Flavor of cat piss, rotting oranges and dank weed. Big body with full strong carbonation and a lingering aftertaste with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Really great.

Tap @ Jeffrey, first pour after keg was tapped. Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is super fresh dank resiny hop, pine, sweet fruits, & to quote Leighton.. some distinct Piss. Flavor is sweet hop juice, some citrus, but really just absolutely slayed the malt/hop balance and interaction. Sweet on tongue, slightly bitter finish.. Perfect balance and so drinkable.

Location: Growler from Hicksville Beer & Soda, 8/4/14

Aroma: The nose is fresh and resiny hops, plenty of pine, some catty and grapefruit notes
Appearance: It pours a completely clear yellow-gold color with a very thin white head
Flavor: Flavor is right on with the nose, mildly sweet, lots of resiny, catty, and pine hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, not watery, just light and easy drinking, clean, with a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really nice IPA. Very fresh hop flavor. Super easy drinking. This could get extremely dangerous, at 7.3% it definitely drinks more like a session. One could easily finish a growler in an evening without assistance (theoretically speaking of course).

Draft at pony bar HK with Paul. Pours a deep hazy orange amber body. Aroma is super fresh pine, citrus hope, grapefruit, mango and pineapple. Incredible bouquet of tropical fruits and pine. Mouthfeel is medium, nice body and sessionable with notes of pine, citrus, light earthy hop and grapefruit juice. Awesome IPA.

Keg at sunswick. Nice straw colour. Lovely funky fruity smoky aroma. It's a little sweet maybe, but its good. Fruity, funky veg, foody. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
