jjpm74 (3160), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Mar 25, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of toast, biscuits, earth, some dough. Tastes of biscuits, some dry malt, some earthiness on the finish. boto (1224), Granby, Connecticut, USA Feb 10, 2008 Draught: This one pours a very pale yellow, and was crystal clear. There was very little head on it, but did leave a little lacing. The aroma was very weak. Slightly floral and fruity to the nose. The taste is OK, certainly not unpleasant but very pedestrian. beerbuzzmontreal (2747), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 2, 2007 Pours a cloudy, pale golden color with a thin white head. Average aroma and flavor of cereal and honey, it’s not very entertaining but makes for a decent quencher. The body is light and creamy with soft carbonation. Glouglouburp (2009), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 24, 2007 Clear blonde body topped by a small white ring of foam. Yet another brewpub generic blonde ale, every brewpub has one, except that this one is actually quite drinkable for what it is. Lots of cereals and a gentle fruity touch. Low profile hops, appears like a little dry hopping. Smooth body and soft carbonation. Not quite recommendable to beer-geeks but the fact that this is their entry level beer speaks volume about the overall beer quality at this pub. As far as typical blondes are concerned this beer is like a typical blonde with an 85 IQ, above average in a relative manner. KariCupcake (215), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA Nov 13, 2006 Shared a sampler that had this in it. Smells like Pledge (the lemony furniture polish). TOo thin. Very light mouthfeel, yet it is very smooth. It had a pleasant grainy taste.
