Tap at the brewpub. Golden, clear, white head. Fresh hop aroma. Flavor is mostly fresh hops and hop bitterness. Dry and crisp. Hoppy finish. Refreshing.

From the tap poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Amber pour with a whispy white head. Aroma is thin caramel, some light cardboard and some tired hops. Flavor is a little brighter, with some resinous hops, a bit of toffee, caramel malt profile, and some light graininess. Overall a bit below average, but I bet this is better fresh

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a just clear light orange amber with a thin white head. Crisp hops, little bit of caramel. Thin to medium bodied, earthy hops, little bit of malt. Finishes with some light crisp hoppy bitterness.

MartinT (6340) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 25, 2009
My Bottom Line:
This American Pale Ale offers citrusy, spicy hops that tend to outshine the lightly toasted malts in a lean vehicle chock full of leafy bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam sits atop the dark golden.
-Like all of the beers I had there that day, this was "rustic" tasting. Just a tad dirty, if I may say so.
-The smooth carbonation helps drinkability.
-The hoppy finish was probably my favorite moment in each sip.

On tap at the brewpub.

Draft at the pub. Medium sized offwhite head, good retention and lace. Clear gold/light copper color. Spicey hop nose, light citrus and caramel malts. Body is lightly medium, good carbonation, lightly slick. Clean and crisp citrusy hop notes, spicey and fruity with a little light tropical tinge and goodly balanced malts. Fairly dry, crisp clean citrus finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours copper with white head. Smells of earth, some pepper. Tastes citrussy and dry with a nice hint of pepper on the finish.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a thin white head. Nice aroma of herbal and citrusy hops. Interesting flavor of herbal and citrusy hops with a decent malt back-bone. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2007 Sampled from a bomber. Light malt aroma with some spicy pine hops. Hazy light orange color with a small white head. Starts with a light hop bitterness. Carbonation and body dies off quickly in the finish.

Shared a sampler that had this in it. Cloudy in color. Nice foam! Super hoppy, almost too much hoppy. The flavor stayed in my mouth way too long.

On tap at the Barrington Brewery. Cloudy coppery color. Big hoppy burst that was flavorful but not overwhelming.
