On tap at the brewpub, Barrington MA, on 20 April 2010. ABV not stated. OG 1054. Name given as Oh Yeah! IPA but I guess this is the same stuff. Amber colour. Good condition. Low aroma for an IPA. Another clean and refreshing beer, with a moderate bitterness, but somewhat low on impact for an IPA.

Growler filled one day ago, drank l tonight. Thin lacy head the clings to glass dissipates quickly. Great color almost amber. Some hop flavor I like more and upfront good crash IPA... That’s hard to find. -CB

Draft at pub. Brownish amber, small head. Aroma fairly malty, non-descript hops. Medium body, slight carbonation, no alcohol. Taste is again malt-dominated with some hops but not as much as would expect from an IPA. Pleasant but undistinguished.

Dark amber with reddish tint in the glass. A nice tight offwhite head. Pretty. Aroma is malt forward, nutty, a bit bready almost. Some subtle herbal hoppiness in the background. Flavor is toffee malt, some grain, cracker, and a bit of herbal bitterness on the finish. Nothing out of this world, a solid malt forward IPA.

22oz bomber. Pours with no lasting red. Color is dark tan, almost looks like a ESB here. Taste is hoppy but not overwhelming, actually not a tremenoudous amount of hops. But pairing that with the gentle malts makes this brew solid and goes down soooo smooth. Kind of a sweet after taste on the pallate, like a mild bit of apples. Carbination helps move this along yet for and IPA was I hoping for more of a bite. Maybe it had to do with the soloar brewing powers within. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed orange amber with a thin to medium white head which falls quickly. Earthy malt and buttery citrus. Slightly creamy and buttery caramel, nice spicy hop presence. Finishes with a quinine and grapefruit bitterness. The butter note is a bit distracting.

From a draft pour at the Egremont Inn in Great Barrington, MA this came a clear copper color with a small white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus and pine hops. Light and very smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter and so is the finish. For someone who is used to the heavy bitterness of west coast IPA’s this seemed pretty laid back but was quite drinkable and enjoyable.

22oz btl. Pours a very nice dark amber/copper color with a big 2 inch head that was slow to dissolve. Aroma was nice with piney citrus and sweet toffee malts. I would say it has a light to medium mouth feel that lingers long enough. The taste wasnt as hoppy as i anticipated but still has a nice woody amber flavor. Maybe the bottle is towards the end of its life and was n’t as good as the others rating’s say.

Draft at the pub. Medium statured tan head, good retention and sticky lace. clear amber copper hued ale. Nose is nice, light pine, citrus, lightly earthy with some bready malt aromas as well. Body is medium, gently resiny. with a good carbonation. Well balanced malt to hop flavors, caramely, piney and orangey, lightly sweet and somewhat toastey. Dry fruity finish makes for an easy quaffin IPA. Enjoyable. I see it,s listed as a winter seasonal, hmmmm, oh well i guess it got promoted to a summer seasonal as well.

(growler, thanks kmweaver) Hazy copper body with lovely medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/cat urine, some caramel, light bread. Nice bitter aftertaste. Medium body, some resin.
