sleepylopes (281), New York, USA Jul 7, 2008 aroma is wet malt and a bit of sweet fruit. the beer is balanced with light hopping and a bit a nut and yeast sweetness. a little strange and not enough carbonation.
Aurelius (2469), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 3, 2008 All malt aroma - sweet, tangy. Medium, cloudy brown, fair head which fades rapidly. Tangy, woody, moderately astringent, not as sweet as it smells, seedy/slightly herbal, a little metallic, moderately hoppy. Finish has a tongue-curling astringency over a wild sloe fruitiness, medium bodied. jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 7, 2008 22ozbottle@Joe’s NYC Gathering–pours a foamy to rocky offwhite head with amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel/honey. Taste is medium malt-caramel/honey, some spicy (continental?)/perfumy hops. OK/mild carbonation.
