Nice brown color with some spicy stuff in there. Malt and spice. Malt and spice. This is a good beer to have in the fall...that could be why it’s an octoberfest type of beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Lighter brown color. Spicy aroma reminiscent of autumn. Nice mix of hoppy characteristics and the malty. Not too in-your-face, yet not too wimpy or watery like their other beers. Pretty good.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Just introduced to the brewery menu today, or so I was told by the barman. Medium reddish amber color, a little lighter than some in this style that I am used to. The flavor has that characteristic malty sweetness, but it's quite subtle. A little hoppy bite, but not much at all. Smooth drinking, yes, but nothing overly exciting. Had that same "woody" quality of the Brown Ale I tried.
