Draft@ Barrio. Clear amber color/ off white head. grassy hoppy aromas. rich, smooth mouthfeel. Mildly bitter citrusy hop flavors on a solid honey malt sweet base. good session brew.

Sampled at 1702, December 2009
This beer arrives from the tap with a mostly clear, nice copper color. The pale colored head leaves some lacing on the sides of my glass. The aroma smells like a hopped up English Pale Ale; a nice herbal character, some light mintyness as well as some soft, fruity citrus character.

This tastes quite interesting; the herbal and minty notes are definitely here in the flavor. This does have a fair amount of fruit character to it, but it is more on the herbal side. Again, in the flavor, the description of this as a hoppy English styled pale ale is definitely apt. This is light and refreshing; definitely a beer meant for quaffing. I like that this has a nice herbal bitterness to it, but sometimes the beer reminds me of toothpaste somehow.

On tap @ Barrio Brewing - Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Light lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops. Flavor is also floral and citrus hops and just enough malt sweetness to balance the beer out. No astringent aftertaste. Medium body. After two pints, I’m sold. A very, very nice PA.
