Cask, handpump at the brewpub, The Exeter Arms, Barrowden, Rutland, whilst cycling in this Rutland Water area 14.05.11 Pours hazy light amber with a white head. Light maltiness and some fruit. This is a touch thin with some caramel and a light touch of hoppiness. Ok. A6 A3 T6 P2 Ov12 2.9

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2010 3rd May 2008. Soft palate. Very mild hops. Smooth light malt. Easy drinking. 29th May 2010. Now made with Celia hops and much better for it. Hazy amber beer. Light semi dry palate. Good fruity hops, orange and other citrus flavours. Nice even malt. A semi dry crisp finish.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2008 The Exeter Arms, Barrowden. Bright orange amber. Smells a bit chocolate orange-plenty of perfumey (American?)hop and vanilla. Robust hop bitterness, lemony/mandarin citrus tang and biscuit. A lick of peanut butter. Nice.
