Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy blond color. It has a delicate aroma of malt with a shade of cereals. Dry but smooth mouthfeel; mild flavor of malt and hay, with light magnesia and salt; there is also a light residual sweetness. Correct bitterness. Refreshing.

Süffiger, eher unauffälliger Antrunk, leicht hopfig. Erst im Mittelteil wird das Bier spürbar würziger, ein feinherbes Grundgerüst baut sich auf, später soll dies zum Hauptaspekt des Bieres werden. Das Bier wird nun etwas süßer, der Hopfen bleibt. Viel besser als aus der Flasche!

Aromastarker Geruch, erinnernd an Preiselbeeren.
Fruchtiger Auftakt mit Grasnoten unterstrichen von einer zurückhaltenden Malzigkeit. Im Mittelteil erscheint das Preiselbeeraroma im Verein mit Kiefernharz. Der Abgang verzichtet dann auf diese Nuancen und bringt verstärkt das Malz in Vordergrund.
Ein sehr ungewöhnliches und außergewöhnlich gutes Kölsch aus Hücheln. Gerne wieder.

Bottled (thanks B.U., tasted at the 2nd CS/ES beerevening). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, wood, some mild grains as well as some earth. Flavour is earthy, bready, malty, mildly caramelly as well as some herbal and grassy notes.

Into the glass pours a glorious red-gold beer with superior, durable head. The beginning part is surprisingly fruity, spicy and pleasantly hoppy. The aftertaste is also fine and spicy hops comes through. Very tasty. A very untypical Kölsch, which is bursting with aromas just like that!

Clear golden colour with small white head.
Aroma is sweet bready malty aroma with grassy hoppiness.
Flavour is grassy fruity bitterish hoppy with some malty bready sweetness.
Quite good Kölsch.

(Bottle at One Pint Pub) Poured golden and clear. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma was herbal, citric and mildly sweet with green apple. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, fresh malts, dust, citricness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bit sweet and bitter.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very fruity and fresh. Turns then a bit drier, still fruity, finish a bit yeasty. Very good.

Bottle, 4.7%. Rough green apple aroma, a little plastic. Hazy copper colour. Very small white head. The flavour has a rough bitterness and a little plastic too. 5 3 5 3 9
