Golden colour. I must admit I was surprised to see coriander in the list of ingredients as I didn’t pick it up at all at the time. An initial whiff of sulphur gave way to markedly grassy, clammy hops, underlaid by sweet malt. On the palate, although it was dry, the hop presence was soft but there were tropical fruit nuances too. Dry, quite bitter finish. Not bad, but it didn’t really grab me. Cask (gravity dispense) at Bedford Beer Festival 2004.
