A Mes rate: Gravicask at Nottingham BF
Golden brown colour. Aroma is so-so, tea, malt and fruit. Flavour is much better. Nice malt, tobacco and hops. Peach, obvious lychee and really quite tasty. Tangy sweet finish. Shame about the nose. Funny how I had it the day before Hugie did and clearly benefitted from the fresher cask.

Cask, gravity, at Nottingham Beer Festival ’07. Orange gold. Musty chocolate aroma, like a stale liqueur chocolate you find in the drawer six months later. Faint fruity taste and a mid bitter finish. Is the fruit lychee as alleged? Really couldn’t say. Is it vegan and organic? No idea. Do I like it? No.
