330ml bottle from Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 3 on 2 December 2010.. Batch number 100510. Best before end January 2012. Amber colour. Very lively pour. Seemed a bit woody and a bit oxidised. Lasting bitterness. Rather astringent aftertaste.

tkrjukoff (2669) - SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2011
Pours hazy amber with a huge fluffy beige head leaving lacing. Aroma is fruity, sweet fudge, malty, a bit yeasty, alcohol, fidges and some saffron. Fullbodied sweet yeasty mouthfeel. Crispy sweet, alcohol, fidges, almonds and saffron flavor. Tart sweet palate - suprising. Finishes dry fruity with a longlasting tart bitter aftertaste. Quite different and very nice beer indeed.

23rd December 2010
Cloudy brown beer, large off white head. Dry palate, a little crisp. Dry and somewhat soft malt. A little brandy and a trace of fruit. Dry finish with some minerals and the malt turning a little creamier. Some characteristics of a Tripel. Not bad - a little heavy.
