Cask at Stortford Beer Festival 2011. A hazy red beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl, caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught. Clear coppery brown with thin beige head. Little aroma - toffee, caramel, apples. Medium body, very light carbonation. Light flavour with caramel, dark malt, little bitterness and maybe a hint of seaweed. Easy drinking, satisfying taste and mouthfeel but not special.

A good, solid, country ale. Pours with a strong head. Easy drinking mouthfeel with some pleasant flowery hops. Finish is fruity and steady.
