Our flagship India Pale Lager showcases a copper color that gives way to a crisp, clean lager beer perfectly balanced in its massive complexity. Dry-hopped and aged on an in-house toasted blend of white and red oaks. The IPL finishes clean and smooth, with hop aromas of wild flowers and pine, and a unique maltiness highlighted by the subtle oak character.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a fairly thick light tan head on there. Nose is fresh and very hoppy, with some great citrus elements to it, almost like a lemongrass. Taste is light and fresh, and not as bitter as I would have expected; only a slight bitterness with a residual hint of sweetness to it. Not a bad drink.

Good retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, peaches and pine. Tastes of peaches, pine and summer fruits. Light bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz aluminum bottle- Pours hazy dark golden with a huge white head, be careful with pouring this one, the head got away from me. Lace is decorative, cobwebby. The aroma is balanced, sweet malt, not a lot of hops. The taste is caramel malt, spicy bitter hops. I was very close to saying I like these types of beers with less malt and more of a citrus hop character and all that stuff, but this actually works. Still will probably never purchase again.

Big sticky hop aroma. Glowing orange brown amber color. Big sticky hop front that backs off and leaves a light stick behind.

Draught at the brewery during Zwickelmania 2014. This version listed at 62 IBU. Very light nose of peaches and other mild fruit. Hazy copper color. Initial flavors or apples and a whole lotta pears (fruit punchy stuff) / mid doesn’t move much / a metallic tingle and light hop tracks in finish. An IPA base done with lager yeast, which tones down the flavor profiles. Lagered on oak chips. Four hop varieties for dry hopping, but that doesn’t really come out much in the nose. Nice enough, though.

Poured from 1 pint (6 fl oz) bottle. Clear copper with full beige head. Piney hop aroma and taste. Light body. Pretty good for a lager.

22 alumibottle. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with golden edges. Sudsy light tan head. Lots of it. Decent light lace. Bright grassy hay and a bit of pine on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel with some bright piney qualities on the mid palate. Soft biscuity finish.

22 oz. aluminum bottle. Beautiful looking beer - pours a deep orange-red with a nice, fully lasting and firm head. Moderately strong pine resin aroma with some black pepper and mild dried straw underneath. Heavily bitter with flavors of leather and grapefruit rind. There is a bit of grassy hay and a spark of musty yeast at the tail end of the flavor profile. Very dry, mildly alcoholic finish. A lager? You could have fooled me. Really, really tasty. Huge thanks to my sister- and mother-in-law for bringing this back for me from Oregon.
