COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship India Pale Lager showcases a copper color that gives way to a crisp, clean lager beer perfectly balanced in its massive complexity. Dry-hopped and aged on an in-house toasted blend of white and red oaks. The IPL finishes clean and smooth, with hop aromas of wild flowers and pine, and a unique maltiness highlighted by the subtle oak character.

Oranje bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt fruitig, tropisch fruit. Smaakt fruitig, caramel.

Can at Revel on first night in Seattle. Surprisingly dark hazy copper pour (unexpected for a lager for some reason). Aroma of crisp hops. Taste is bigger and palate richer than most IPLs I've had. Flavors a bit muddled dank hops. Solid not great.

Bottle can from Safeway. Deep amber in color upon pouring. Somewhat hazy. Sugary sweet nose with a bit of hoppiness. Some grain as well. Earthy and hoppy. Some woodiness and a little bit of sweet English type maltiness. Pretty tasty.

On tap @ Base Camp. Much darker than expected. Sort of an amber color. Khaki foam. Good enough pineapple hop notes and a little peach. Somewhat citrusy, which is nice. Hints of watermelon gummy candy. The flavor is pretty heavy on grapefruit and watermelon gummies. A nice citric note to it. Some caramel malt, peach, and maybe pine to add just a faint bitterness. Good but sweet.

Medium, dense cream head, slightly irregular, fed by finely carbonated foxy amber beer. Sweetish cakebottom with C-hops, but also rainwater, sweet dessertbread , mastellen. Bitter and bready tastewise. Some resin, obviously, hopoils, walnutpeel, but also a bit of hazelnut(flour) at every new sip. Long bitterish, bit metallic aftertaste, dry. Good carbonation, slick, seems better bodied than 7%ABV would warrant. Doesn’t have a lager character - not that I care. But it is rather severe-dry-bitter.
