3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
aluminum bottle with Carla. Pours amber/red with tan foam. Smells mildly of pine and caramel with hints of toasted barley. Tastes lightly nutty with a nice amount of bitterness and a sweet full-bodied backing and a hint of oak. More like a hoppy red, but the oak is nice.

On tap at Base Camp. Colour...slightly hazy apricot-amber. Nose...slightly piney hops, but not resinous with some honey infused grain. Palate... Some dry, earthy hops with pine pitch and needles (yes, I’ve tasted both!) and some grain, all of which works its way towards a well blended taste and feel across the palate.

Pours dark amber with lasting white head. Hoppy aroma, smells like an IPA. Full bodied flavour, like a cross between an IPA and a strong pils. Seems long stored
