Our flagship India Pale Lager showcases a copper color that gives way to a crisp, clean lager beer perfectly balanced in its massive complexity. Dry-hopped and aged on an in-house toasted blend of white and red oaks. The IPL finishes clean and smooth, with hop aromas of wild flowers and pine, and a unique maltiness highlighted by the subtle oak character.

Cool bottle. Much more amber in color than I expected, thick off white head that sticks around. Drinks like a hoppy APA. Some floral and caramel on the nose not too much fruity hops like some IPL. Clean up front with some grapefruit bitterness on the back end.

This IPL never disappoints. Nice aroma, amber color, piney yet very smooth. Only slight wood characteristic. A well rounded enjoyable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Alumium bottle. Amber, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and light fruitiness, piney - light citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, piney - some citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and dryish, lots of piney hoppyness, light alcohol. OK well hopped and dryish imperial pils - not overly too much alcohol in the finish. IP that is more enjoyable than some of beers sold as IPAs.

Bottle-like can (I think?) @ weekly tasting shared with Joes. Clear amber color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly hops, a hint of sweetness. Taste malts, lightly hops, again a little sweetish, there is a light touch of orangepeel-bitter, a hint of oak-wood-bitter towards the finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours dark amber (DIPA style) with a ligt amber--ish head. Piny in the aroma; exotic fruits on the palate; rasins, abricots, bit of pine apple; finishing in a strong bitter. Medium to full bodied taste. Very nice!

Canned: unk Pours amber, with quilt of yellows with murky clarity. Waaay darker than I would expect. Smells of resin, grass, tea. Flavor is bitter, more tea, amber malt character, resin, tannin, meh. Medium on full bodied for the style with moderate carb (probably feels rather low due to the body), semi dry finish. Maybe this is old, but my suspicion is that this just isn’t that great of a beer. Maybe the oak kills it for me - I don’t dig it.
