Our flagship India Pale Lager showcases a copper color that gives way to a crisp, clean lager beer perfectly balanced in its massive complexity. Dry-hopped and aged on an in-house toasted blend of white and red oaks. The IPL finishes clean and smooth, with hop aromas of wild flowers and pine, and a unique maltiness highlighted by the subtle oak character.

Can from Made in Oregon. Pours dark copper with a 3 finger creamy beige head. Complex floral/malt/wood aroma. Med + body. Flavor is woody, malty, floral and it comes across very oak astringent. Sets up a nice hop burn. Sort of a mellow malty decently hopped equivalent to an IPA. Nice drink indeed.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a fairly thick light tan head on there. Nose is fresh and very hoppy, with some great citrus elements to it, almost like a lemongrass. Taste is light and fresh, and not as bitter as I would have expected; only a slight bitterness with a residual hint of sweetness to it. Not a bad drink.

Bottle shared by Yasunori. 6.8% a deep honey amber with a solid beige head. Honey, mild caramel & hop aroma. The taste is quite rich in malts, spicy then a bit of pine & floral hop notes. It has some vaguely ginger flavor as well. Quite good & easy to drink.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is hazy orange-amber with a big cream-colored head and great lacing. Perfumey, grapefruit, lemons, grass, biscuit, and dough in the aroma. Taste is grapefruits, grassy hops, ripe melon, cantaloupe, and lemon zest with a light bitter finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Tasty stuff.

Poured from can to glass. Golden hue with creamy white head that settled. Aroma is pine, citrus, melon, straw, slight sulphur. Mouthfeel is great faith a medium light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry with a hop bitterness dominating through the finish. Overall this is an interesting play on the ipa style.

22 oz beautiful aluminium bottle from "Lifesource",Salem $5.99 As far as appearance, have to say this bottle is amazing, pity they didnít have a screw top as this would make a kick ass water bottle. Beer appearance its amber.. kinda dark for a PL..large eggshell white head. Nice enough aroma..piney hop..light caramel malts. Nice Smooth caramel, Scottish fudge malts and nice grassy/grapefruit hop. I like Good thick creamy palate. Overall nice beer..and again lovely packaging

Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe fruit and oak. Medium-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and sherry. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

22 oz aluminum bottle- Pours hazy dark golden with a huge white head, be careful with pouring this one, the head got away from me. Lace is decorative, cobwebby. The aroma is balanced, sweet malt, not a lot of hops. The taste is caramel malt, spicy bitter hops. I was very close to saying I like these types of beers with less malt and more of a citrus hop character and all that stuff, but this actually works. Still will probably never purchase again.

From a small sample at a tasting. Deep red amber colour, nice lacing. Loads of hops in aroma. Balanced by sweetness and fruit in taste. Full but clean beer. Nice and drinkable.
