22 oz beautiful aluminium bottle from "Lifesource",Salem
As far as appearance, have to say this bottle is amazing, pity they didn’t have a screw top as this would make a kick ass water bottle.
Beer appearance its amber.. kinda dark for a PL..large eggshell white head.
Nice enough aroma..piney hop..light caramel malts. Nice
Smooth caramel, Scottish fudge malts and nice grassy/grapefruit hop. I like
Good thick creamy palate.
Overall nice beer..and again lovely packaging

Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe fruit and oak. Medium-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and sherry. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

aluminum bottle with Carla. Pours amber/red with tan foam. Smells mildly of pine and caramel with hints of toasted barley. Tastes lightly nutty with a nice amount of bitterness and a sweet full-bodied backing and a hint of oak. More like a hoppy red, but the oak is nice.

Tap @ Base Campe... Poured deep amber with a moderate, khaki head. Nose had a wonderful bouquet of floral, NW hops. Full bodies, moderate mouthfeel. Some bitterness and hop tones, bready malts for balance. Clean finish. Not much oak presence though.

Alumabottle:   Deep dull caramel, large frothy sandy head, nice lacing.   Soft bready and biscuity aroma.   Noticeable hops.   Hoppy on the tongue, with a somewhat stringent grassy malt base.   Moderate to
full body and mouthfeel.   For an IPL (India Pale Lager), its moreso on the side of India Pale.   I actually wished it were more on the Lager side as it would be smoother.   Seems a bit astringent.   Body and mouthfeel
are moderate to full.   Feels somewhat heavy, without being cloying.   As it warms the nose gets a little fruity.   Not a bad beer, but the bitterness seems to outweigh the Lager aspects.   Wished it were a bit smoother,
less bitter.   Might as well have been an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A copper amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, loads of caramel malt with apple skin, maple, and grassy hops. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with scotch notes, very nice, grassy hops, surprising.

Funky "canottle", brought back and shared by Grippitis. Nice looking copper pour. Caramel malts, bready and lightly toasty, with. Moderate dose of fresh hop character. Better than anticipated.

My favorite of the sampler tray. Bought a can/bottle home with me. Nice fruity and light. More XPA than lager because it is not super crisp but quite tasty.

Golden in color, clear with a thin head. Super lager flavor and rich high amount of alcohol. This was clean and great drinking. Nice hops and finish.
