COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second waypoint in our Meridian Expedition. Our hazy orange Magnetic Meridian IPA is crowned with a creamy, white head. A touch of noble-type hops adds a slight spicy note, then we pile on the tropical fruitiness of Meridian hops for flavor and aroma. Rolled oats fortify this beer’s body while keeping it dry and thirst-quenching.

On draught at Buckman-Kerns Brewfest at EastBurn. Orange color with a huge creamy head. Surprising apricot aroma. Sweet pitted fruit, light citrus, non-bitter hops in the flavor. Ends really smoothly.

Draft at the Tugboat Brewing Co. in Portland, OR on 27 May 2013. Poured a clear amber colour with a dense white head. Very sweet aroma; boiled sweets, sherbet and some fruity hop notes. Initial flavours were pine needles, soft fruit and chewy malt. Caramel, hay and resin on the finish. Not too taken.

Average beer. There was an off after taste that distracted from the enjoyment of this beer. It was a little flat and warm, so I will need to try another sample to see if it was just a bad pour. Overall disappointing, especially coming from a good Oregon brewery.

Tap at Base Camp, 22/05/13. Clear golden amber with a thin beige head. Nose is hops, pine, citrus, light grapefruit, orange pith. Taste comprises bitter orange, hops, a good pine bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Decent IPA.
