COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our fourth waypoint in the ongoing Meridian Expedition. A Belgian Witbier in appearance and malt bill, the Meridiwit has a cloudy and opaque white color and silky mouthfeel from the use of loads of wheat and oats. Then the recipe takes a firmly untraditional twist. Meridian hops deliver a brightly citrus and refreshing mimosa-like character with flavors of orange and champagne dominating the aftertaste.

A surprisingly nice cloudy yella witbier. Aroma of bubble gum, spices and citrus. The flavor is yeasty with a pronounced lemony twang seemingly from the hops with underlying orange. Good stuff

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. Light aroma of bubblegum and plastic. Rather dry, with some wheat and spice flavor and the bitterness takes a slight vegetable turn.
Nothing exciting.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy gold-tinted yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright citrus notes, with a touch of spice and wheat. Flavour is fresh and spicy, with fresh vibrant spicy hops, sharp wheat and a little citrus. Quite a hoppy kick to this. Refreshing and quite distinct for a wit. Very good stuff.

t base camp brewery wih Stephen. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Crisp white wheat, grassy. Taste is really nice on this hot day, raw barley hay, light wheat and a hint of hops. Finish is good and clean.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear honey with a big white head and great lacing. Big citrusy, peppery, grassy, biscuit, herbs, and coriander in the aroma. Taste is lemon peels, bread, white pepper, basil and grass with a lightly spicy finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Really tasty shit.

650ml bottle like aluminum can pours a very light golden orange color with a small white head leaving only a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is orange zest with some light citrus and spices. Taste is an orange zesty bitterness with an orange fruity and malty sweetness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation leaving a light tingle on the tongue. A well crafted witbier that rivals those of Belgium. Recommended.

Sampled at the brewpub - Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. The aroma has pineapple, smooth citrus and tangerine hoppiness. It has a medium body that is crisp and nice soft carbonation. It starts with pineapple, smooth wheat, spice and rounded citrus. The finish has spiciness and some must. Nice.

A nice Belgian white. Prominent note here is citrusy lemon. The wheat underlying is a bit overwhelmed by this, but not terribly so. Good but slight and not abundant Belgian yeast flavor.
